This material distinguishes itself with its translucency, radiant sheen, and featherlight weight. This pioneering material was developed in the 1950s by the Atelier de Recherche Plastique (A.R.P.), founded by esteemed designers such as Pierre Guariche, Joseph-André Motte, and Michel Mortier.
