Rare high desk or console by André Sornay, cabinetmaker, painter and designer from Lyon.

Composed of two inverted U-shaped legs on which a black lacquered top rests and accommodates a central storage drawer. A fine example of "Tigette" furniture, named after the assembly system invented and patented by André Sornay in 1955.
