Free-form Table by Charlotte Perriand, Les Arcs circa 1986

REF: 7577

Free-form table designed by Charlotte Perriand in the 1980s for the L'Aiguille Grive residence at Les Arcs 1800, in the French Alps.

Made of solid pine in glued laminated construction, the organically shaped top rests on two so-called "Canard" legs in black lacquered metal. The contrast between the warmth of the pine and the lightness of the metal reflects Perriand's alpine aesthetic, combining natural materiality and architectural precision.
