Matteo Grassi

Matteo Grassi (1927 - 2001)

Originating from the North of Italy, the Grassi are a family of leather craftsmen. It is after the Second World War that Matteo and his wife developed a passion for design, in a region that became central to the production of furniture. The Matteo Grassi factory, founded in 1880, then collaborates with the greatest Italian designers and architects. Their collection offers minimalist lines, often geometric shapes inherited from Bauhaus, with a remarkable leather work.
