Pair of Meribel Chairs by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1955

REF: 8100

Pair of Meribel chairs by Charlotte Perriand, designed in the 1940s to furnish the ski resort of Meribel, in the French Alps. Iconic design by Charlotte Perriand, these chairs were also to be found in her own chalet, that she started building as of 1960 on the land the city had given her in exchange for her work.

They are offered here in their purest form, in untainted ash wood.
Ash structure composed of four log legs connected by an X-shaped spacer, a curved backrest and a straw seat.

Manufacturer : Steph Simon from 1950.
