Alpine pine bench, France, circa 1975

REF: 7808

Alpine bench in solid pine produced in the mid-1970s for the residential furnishing programs of the Les Arcs 1800 ski resort.

Designed for collective and intensive use, the bench features a deliberately simple and robust construction. The design focuses on functionality, stability and structural clarity, allowing the natural qualities of the wood to define the object. It reflects an approach to mountain furniture in which durability and restraint are essential.

This type of bench aligns with the furniture selections made at Les Arcs during the furnishing campaigns coordinated under the direction of Charlotte Perriand.
