Pair of table lamps manufactured by Nicolas De Waël pour Fondica France, circa 2000.
Each lamp stands on a circular tripod base with a finely textured surface, topped by a slender hammered column. A curled lateral arm supports a small dish adorned with stylized vegetal motifs, reflecting a neo-baroque decorative vocabulary typical of certain French productions of the 1970s. The entire piece features a gilt patinated finish enhancing its sculptural relief and texture. The light-colored fabric shades provide a soft glow. One shade shows a slight wrinkle.
